How Jimmy’s Burn ‘N Turn Began
We started Jimmy’s Burn ‘N Turn in 2023 in Dickinson, ND at 2286 Interstate 94 Business Loop E. It began as a mobile food trailer built from a shared idea between James Reker and Dave Ogren. After years of cooking for family and friends, we chose to serve the public. That simple start still guides how we cook and serve today.
Our BBQ Roots and Experience
Our BBQ style comes from over 30 years of combined cooking experience. A lot of that time was spent cooking in backyards, learning how fire, smoke, and time shape food. This is part of American BBQ tradition, where meals are shared outside with family and neighbors. We carry that same approach into every order we prepare today.

We focus on BBQ made with simple methods and solid ingredients. Each item is prepared with care from start to finish. We do not overcomplicate the menu because we believe good BBQ should stay honest and clear.
